40 Years of Weighing Expertise. One Logical Solution.
Our philosophy is simple:
weighing should work the way you work. Simply logical.
On-demand forklift weighing, because operations don't weigh all day
Most warehouses don't weigh all day.
A pallet gets weighed at receiving, or before it ships, or when someone disputes a number. The rest of the shift the forklift does what it was bought to do, move loads. Yet for decades the only way to weigh on a forklift was to bolt a scale onto it permanently and pay the cost the rest of the time. Less lifting capacity. More wear. A forklift that is now half a scale.
So the people running these operations did what they always do. They worked around it. They sent pallets across the floor to a fixed scale. They tied up one forklift as the weighing forklift. They paid constantly for capacity they used occasionally.
And whoever was asked to fix it faced the same trap. Every option on the table was a compromise, so the best you could offer was a compromise, or nothing.
None of that is a weighing problem. It is a flexibility problem. Weighing was built to sit still, and the work does not. That is the gap LOGIWEIGH closes, and what it puts in your hands.
Four decades of weighing, one new category
LOGIWEIGH is the international weighing brand of Shkila, building professional weighing systems since 1983. Four decades on factory floors and loading docks taught us one thing people kept repeating, take the scale off the forklift when I am not using it. On-demand forklift weighing is the answer to that exact sentence.
SLIDE&WEIGH is our removable forklift weighing sleeve, a patent-protected design that slides onto standard forks in under a minute, with no tools and no permanent modification, and comes off just as fast when the weighing is done. One pair moves across an entire fleet. The forklift stays a forklift.
We make it, we certify it, we stand behind it. You bring it to the people who depend on you, and you bring them the answer that fits instead of the compromise. It is the newest product from a house whose weighing systems have run for years in operations at Coca-Cola, Unilever, Strauss and Diplomat, backed by ISO 9001 manufacturing and an ISO 17025 accredited calibration laboratory.
Weighing should adapt to how an operation runs, not the other way around. That is what simply logical means. If you are the person who wants to bring that to the people who count on you, let us talk.
This is our jurney:
1983
Establishment
Founded by engineers driven to develop a new generation of electronic weighing heads, Shkila set out to turn accumulated technical expertise into practical weighing tools built for real industrial use.
1989
First Hand Pallet Truck
When we introduced our first weighing hand pallet truck at the Technology Exhibition, there was nothing else like it on the market. It was the first of its kind: a standard warehouse pallet truck with weighing capability built in. The product sold immediately, and it established a principle that still guides us today – weighing should be part of the workflow, not an interruption to it.
1995
New Home
Growing demand led us to build our own manufacturing facility in Caesarea Industrial Park, Israel. Operating under one roof gave us direct control over product quality from first component to final delivery, a principle we maintain to this day.
2000
ISO 9001 Approval
LOGIWEIGH achieved ISO 9001 certification, confirming the company’s commitment to quality management, continuous improvement, and reliable manufacturing processes. This certification ensures that our weighing solutions are developed and delivered according to internationally recognized quality standards.
2005
First Forklift Scales - Weighing forks
We introduced our first weighing forks, bringing forklift weighing on board for logistics operations. The product found its first major home at MAMAN, Israel’s primary air cargo terminal, where accurate load data is critical for aviation safety and compliance.
2011
Warehouse Trucks Weighing Project
A landmark project for Diplomat, one of Israel’s largest FMCG distributors, introduced us to large-scale Weight Controlled Order Picking. Deploying over 25 electric pallet trucks with integrated weighing, the project has been running continuously for over 15 years. It also marked our first integration with Pick-by-Voice systems, teaching us a lesson we never forgot: seamless software interfaces are not optional, they are part of the product
2019
ISO 17025 Accreditation
Received ISO 17025 accreditation for its calibration laboratory, confirming technical competence in the calibration of weighing equipment. This accreditation ensures that measurements and calibrations are performed according to internationally recognized standards, providing reliable and traceable results for our customers.
2021
Registered Patent - Weighing sleeves
Years of customer feedback pointed to the same frustration: operators did not want a permanent scale on their forklift. They wanted weighing capability on demand, available when needed and out of the way when not. Our answer was the SLIDE&WEIGH weighing sleeve — a forklift scale that slides on and off in seconds, without tools or permanent installation. The concept was novel enough to earn patent protection in both the US and Europe, and it created a product category that did not exist before
